Non-aqueous liquid dispersion of Cationic Acrylic Copolymer
1. Typical Properties:
- Appearance Off White liquid
- Chemical nature Cationic copolymer
- Active content 50%
- pH of 1% solution 3.8
- Viscosity of 1% solution 25000 cps
- Viscosity as supplied 200 - 3000 cps
2. Applications:
- DeCAL1805 enhances performance whilst promoting excellent spreading characteristics.
- DeCAL 1805 can be added to formulations at any stage of manufacture. This is because its low, as supplied viscosity means that it can be incorporated easily without the need for elaborate mixing facilities.
- DeCAL 1805 does not require neutralization or heat, and activates simply by agitation.
- DeCAL 1805 also aids suspension and stabilisation of other co-ingredients, and its high thickening efficiency means that only low usage levels are required in many applications.
- DeCAL 1805 has been designed for use in the presence of cationic and non-ionic co-ingredients.
- DeCAL 1805 can be mixed cold in aqueous systems to increase process speed and efficiency and reduce energy costs.
- DeCAL 1805 does not require neutralisation or the addition of sodium chloride to achieve viscosity build.
- DeCAL 1805 enables formulators to viscosify products over a wide pH range and in particular in the acidic region.
3.Packaging & Storage: DeCAL 1805 is available in 25Kg, 130Kg drums and 1000Kg containers.
4. Safety & Handling. DeCAL 1805 is an emulsion polymer dispersion. Settlement of the polymer can occur with time. This is not detrimental to the product, its properties or its thickening efficiency performance. It is good practice that the product is agitated prior to use.
